Reducing Environmental Impacts
We are committed to minimizing the environmental impact of our products. To achieve this, we spare no effort in reducing the use of natural resources and reducing pollution at all stages of the production process. We constantly seek sustainability in all our practices.
Quality Certifications
Our work, with regard to sustainability, is recognized by international certifications, such as the RCS (Recycled Claim Standard) 2.0 and the FSC (Forest Stewardship Council). These certifications attest to our commitment to quality and environmental responsibility in each piece we produce.
We are the first company in the footwear components sector to obtain FSC certification for 100% natural rubber soles. This achievement reflects our commitment to promoting responsible and sustainable production practices.
Efficient Waste Management
We understand that waste reduction is essential for sustainable development. Therefore, we implement waste management practices that aim not only to reduce waste in production, but also to promote a circular economy. We invest in innovative technologies that allow us to achieve a significant reduction in waste, for example by reducing production waste, reaching around 15%.
Reuse of Materials
We take pride in reusing a large part of the materials we produce. Waste and production surpluses are reincorporated, contributing to the preservation of natural resources and the health of our planet.
At SBR, we develop soles for footwear, using a variety of raw materials, not only the rubber waste inherent in the manufacture of soles, but also rubber granules mixed with raw materials from sustainable sources, such as cork, rice husk, lees of coffee and grape must.
As part of this reuse work, we have a partnership with the company JCConsulting particularly in the recycling of rubber waste and of tennis ball recycling , with the aim of incorporating it into new products with a sustainable basis.
We believe that it is possible to reconcile industrial progress with environmental preservation. We are committed to leading by example and contributing to a more sustainable future for everyone.
